ABOUT ME

PHOTOGRAPHER IN SUSSEX

Hi, I’m Pippa

I’ve been documenting people in love since 2011. What draws me to weddings, in particular, are people. I’m fascinated by the way we interact, the way we express our feelings and emotions and what better opportunity to capture these extraordinary interactions than during a wedding. I feed off that energy and weave it into my photography, so this feels more than just a job for me, and I love it. I live in a coastal village near Brighton with my Kiwi partner who I love to adventure with and together we dream of all the epic landscapes we want to visit. And then there are our two boys. A great source of inspiration, creativity and mayhem. Outside of work I can be found stomping on the south downs, dipping in the sea and planning the next trip in our beloved campervan (which doesn’t have a name yet but I feel it needs one – suggestions anyone?!) I’m also rather obsessed with our cats, love a G&T, an afternoon tea, a beer in the sun and haribo sweets. That’s me in nutshell! If you’re interested to hear more and have a chat please do get in touch

About my style

bride wipes away a small tear falling down her cheek

By nature I am warm, open and calm. And my style is pure documentary. I am constantly observing and emotionally connected on the day in order to capture all the moments that matter. This includes the ones you may expect to see but also the ones you really don’t. It’s not unusual for me to smile, laugh and well up behind the camera. In short, I care, and I’m often told I interacted like one of the guests which is how the photos come naturally. And this comes from our contact before the day. Hopefully we can meet in person but otherwise online a few times. This brief but important relationship we build will make a huge difference to how you will feel when I turn up on your wedding day. My aim is for you to feel you can be you on your day and have trust in me.

I have been published in various blogs and published in magazines and online. I’m based in Brighton but have shot weddings all over the UK from Scotland to Cornwall and abroad in France, Germany, Italy, Barbados and Australia so name your location and I’ll be there!

In order to offer my bespoke service at each and every wedding, I take a limited number of bookings per year.
So please do get in touch now to check my availability.

New Zealand family travels
