I couldn’t have wished for a nicer couple to start my 2015 wedding season. I met Faisal and Vicky last October and have enjoyed getting to know them in the short time to their wedding earlier this month. We were lucky with the weather for this winter celebration which was photographed at Warwick House in the Midlands. The day had a lovely relaxed feel to it and the sense of love and respect for this couple was palpable. A big thank you to Frank Wood Photography for second shooting with me. I wish Faisal and Vicky a long and happy future together.
Archives for Winter
Congratulations to Jo and Paul who celebrated their wedding in style at Hill Place, Swanmore in Hampshire. Both Jo and Paul wanted a vintage themed day and this created a stylish and unique wedding which was fun to photograph. They had a swing band, afternoon tea, a magician, a gentleman’s club and lovely, friendly group of guests which kept this wedding intimate and special. Thank you Jo and Paul for a fantastic day.
Despite some challenging wintery weather nothing dampened the spirits for Rosada and Will’s wedding at the beautiful Bury Court Barn in Hampshire. A relaxed and personal ceremony with close friends and family made for a lovely wedding under the old beams at Bury Court Barn. To top it off Rosada and Will had a fantastic ceilidh; nothing better to get everyone up and dancing! Congratulations to you both, hope you had a wonderful day.
Another lovely winter wonderland wedding at Langshott Manor in West Sussex. There’s something very special about a December wedding and thankfully the dense fog lifted to reveal this gorgeous venue. The day was lovely and relaxed, and of course full of love and happiness! Congratulations guys, I really enjoyed the day. x
I loved shooting this winter wonderland wedding held at Brighton College. Rebecca and Stephen created a stunning reception at this traditional school – it definitely had the wow factor when entering the old school hall. Despite the danger of rain and the cold temperatures, Rebecca and Stephen were a truly relaxed couple who were surrounded by a lot of admiring friends and family. From start to finish the bride didn’t stop smiling and the cute flower girls and page boys brought humour and fun to this beautiful wedding. Congratulations to you both! x
This is an amazing venue for a winter wonderland wedding. Huntsham Courtn near Exeter in Devon is stunning and has bags of character. It could well be a setting for a Harry Potter film with log fires, ornate furniture, long corridors (some leading to nowhere) and even a resident bat in the bridal suite! The gardens are beautiful and extensive, and the early morning mist added to the wonderful atmosphere on their wedding day. Becca and Paul hired out Huntsham Court for the weekend and everyone chipped in to make this a relaxed, happy affair. The bride and groom tied the knot after eleven years together, having met on the Colorado’s ski slopes. An emotional ceremony followed by a lively evening party, made this a wedding to remember. Congratulations to you both. x
A gorgeous wedding at the Bay Tree Hotel, Burford. Congratulations to Malcolm and Catherine who got married at this beautiful venue. Catherine’s use of Scottish tartan in her dress to complement Malcolm’s kilt was a lovely touch! This was a brilliantly fun and relaxed wedding topped off by Malcolm’s surprise rendition of ‘Luck be a lady’ by Frank Sinatra. Happy honeymoon to the happy couple!
Making the most of the snow while it lasts! Photos taken in Preston Park, Brighton.
A beautiful winter Brighton wedding. Young love… you can’t beat it and Antony and Ayla epitomise what it is to be in love! Two very lovely people braved freezing temperatures to make the most of their fairytale winter wedding in Brighton on 12.12.12. Total naturals in front of the camera and completely besotted with each other… I’m so lucky to do this job! Congratulations guys, you were great. x
