Love love loved shooting this wedding at Grittenham Barn in Sussex. Everything from start to finish was beautifully done with homemade bunting, vintage crockery, Grittenham Barn homegrown flowers, traditional ice cream van, slow roast pork, and to top it off gorgeous weather! Chris and Keri are absolutely lovely people, the speeches were incredibly touching and to see so much happiness and love everywhere was massively heartwarming! Not to mention the two resident donkeys with their respective pink and blue reigns. A gorgeous venue for a wedding and one I hope to go back to. Congratulations Chris and Keri, happy honeymooning!
A beautiful winter Brighton wedding. Young love… you can’t beat it and Antony and Ayla epitomise what it is to be in love! Two very lovely people braved freezing temperatures to make the most of their fairytale winter wedding in Brighton on 12.12.12. Total naturals in front of the camera and completely besotted with each other… I’m so lucky to do this job! Congratulations guys, you were great. x
To have the opportunity to photograph a destination wedding in Sydney was a pretty special way to finish off a great summer of weddings. I met Nicki and Tris 18 months ago travelling in Rwanda and was over the moon when they asked me to be their wedding photographer. This is certainly the furthest I will ever travel for a destination wedding so it was a great privilege to be part of their day. In true Aussie style everything about this day was fun and relaxed, including a few hours with just the bridal party and an esky full of beer and champagne! The early Spring weather was perfect and seeing sunset by the Opera House and Harbour Bridge was beautiful. Congratulations Nicki and Tris, what an awesome day! x
There’s something extra special about photographing a civil partnership when the couple have been together for a long time, and for Paul and Michael they were celebrating 18 years of being together by tying the knot. Everyone celebrated on a hot summer’s day in south-east London at Devonport House – highlights included a short trip down to the Cutty Sark and a chocolate fountain loved by the little, and the not-so little people. Congratulations Paul and Michael, it was great to be a part of your special day. x
A stylish civil partnership wedding at the stunning Hatfield House in Hertfordshire. This was a lovely, lively and lavish day and Wendy and Claire couldn’t take the smiles off their faces! With half the contingent from Claire’s Irish roots, this was bound to be a good party and it was kick started by a surprise appearance from Riverdance dancers displaying their incredible talent. Congratulations Wendy and Claire, it was great to be a part of your day and I know I made friends in the two of you! x
I loved this civil partnership wedding and I felt honoured to be asked to photograph Sally and Lucy’s big day. The girls bring humour and style to everything they do, and this was evident on their special day. With talented friends singing, playing instruments and reading, two very welcoming and happy families saw their daughters register their civil partnership. To top it off, the tables were turned on the brides in the evening as over 100 guests broke out into a flash mob – old and young joined in choreographed dance moves (all learnt from a video posted on the web by the bridesmaids) to Electric Dreams. Sally and Lucy – your reactions will never be forgotten! Congratulations lovely ladies x
Congratulations to Anna and Saibh on their civil partnership wedding day. We had a beautiful day in Wapping-on Thames where Anna and Saibh, joined by their gorgeous sons George and Sasha, enjoyed an amazing party in a fabulous marquee. There was a lovely family atmosphere at this wedding and it was an absolute pleasure to be part of their day – one of the highlights being a great display of Irish dancing from the couple for their first dance! Thanks to Jane Ferguson for second shooting with me, and producing some gorgeous photos of the kids.
Wedding Photographer Monkey Island Hotel Bray: Tej & Rob
It was a great privilege to photograph Tej and Rob’s Asian wedding in the South-East.
And also be a part of the Sikh traditions that lead up to the bride’s big day. This included the maiya and the choora. Tradition states that the bride is to remain modest and ‘unwashed’ to then be transformed on her wedding day. Tej certainly went from a demure, to a blooming bride, and looked amazing! Congratulations to you both and thank you for all making me feel so welcome on your special day.
What an incredible wedding photography location on the Cote D’Azur in the South of France.Shooting a wedding on a 90-meter yacht used in aBond movie was incredible! Tara and Matt are the most down-to-earth couple you could meet and they were so overwhelmed and happy to be given the opportunity to marry on this family yacht in Eze, near Nice. The ceremony was relaxed with no footwear allowed on the boat and it was beautifully decorated with fresh lilies and roses. With the stunning background of the Cote d’Azur this made for a unique and special wedding. Dinner was held on the shore at a seafront restaurant with a local band providing excellent entertainment. This was one to remember. I wish you much happiness in your future together Tara and Matt!
A wonderful wedding to photograph in the incredible countryside of Northumberland. Jenny and Simon were given a window of sunshine admist a rainy April and the stunning hillside views provided an amazing backdrop to their marquee wedding. A very relaxed, fun and beautiful wedding to photograph. Congratulations Jenny and Simon!
